Silkie egg is green!!

I was given a fertile Silkie egg which hatched into a beautiful white baby. I believe she has begun to lay as she’s the only one left to do so. Twice in the run over the last two days. It’s green! Olive egger in her background? How does that work?

Any idea what she’d be crossed with? I understand their egg is usually white/cream.

She must not be pure silkie. (She is beautiful though!) But who knows, mother nature can be weird!

No idea. Any kind of cross can create an olive egg. Olive eggers and Easter eggers aren't true breeds, per se, but hybrids that lay colored eggs.
