Silkie egg prodictivity

I thought, too, that they would lay 2/3 a week, but ours lays almost daily....so I'd say 6/week for ours. Silkies are, indeed, strange (we have 2...the other isn't old enough to lay yet, if it's a she) and they are both a little kookie. I love them to pieces though. They mind their own business, do their own thing, and are just the sweetest little things ever.

Mine go through spurts. They definitely laid better at the beginning. Most just hunker down in the nest box and stay there. No laying. They are wonderful chickens but certainly not even close to being good layers. Mine anyway!
