If time hatching silkies in incubator. Trying to hatch my mom a chick for Christmas. It's day 7 does this still look like ist going to hatch.

That doesn't look great. What temperature and humidity are you running? Are these shipped eggs?

The temperature is set at 100 and the humidity is staying at about 50. These are my own silkie eggs

The picture is a bit blurry. When you candle the egg, can you see spider-like veins? A bit like this:

It looks like there is an embryo and one visible vein coming down from it. Pictures of candling are always deceptive. But if you can see the little embryo moving and veins then all is well.

Here is pictures of the egg on day 12. Is it still good or do I remove it.

I'm not that experienced with eggs so don't take my word for it but I believe there Is still a little chicky in there!
