I put some silkie eggs in this morning! I am so nervous! Since they are bantam eggs, do they need a lower humidity? I know that the temperature should be the same, but it kind of makes sense to me to have a lower humidity. $143! How often do you do that?!

I just went and got 150 lb of feed and the chick starter has gone up to `10.50 a bag and layer to 9.50. Corn is nearly 7

I wish I had it so good! I just paid 13.00 a bag for layer pellets and corn is 10.00 a bag now, too. It's been so cold here that my birds are eating twice as much as well.

I completely understand Purple. I haven't even gotten mine in the incubator yet, I'm waiting for my hens to lay a few more, and I'm already feeling ridiculous!!!!
Good luck on the wait

Too many chickens is right. I just went and got 150 lb of feed

Oh, I do miss that feeling of only buying 150 lbs of feed. My pickup truck would thank me.
