Silkie eggs overdue tapped egg heard it

It ho peeppeep..tapoed on air hole and some blood came out, so I still heard peeping so I put some clear packing tape of where blood came out and put it back in incubator...this is my first time incubating eggs but egg is from 11/14, and hadn't hatch..did I do something wrong? Will it live, 99.5 constant temp. Trying to keep humidity at 55..because the r 24 eggs in there from 12/14 up to yesterday(I put in 3more)don't understand if I am doing it correctly or no . Eggs on automatic turning but not set at a hatch date...please help...

What incubator are you using? Forced or still air? Where did your eggs come from? Are you using a calibrated thermometer/hygrometer?

It sounds like your temperature is not accurate.

Peeping would mean an internal pip has taken place into the air cell. This often takes place about a day before I see external pips. A chick could rest up to 24 hours after external pip to finish absorbing the yolk and veins.
