Silkie Experts Let Me Have It!

In the first photo the blue partridge looks top have more cushion than in the 2nd. Is the red really that apricot colour? It's a bit different of a hue than I'm used to seeing. I usually see either more of a dull gold or a darker red.

BUT, I have a SIMPLE question...........

Is it possible that the chicken in the FIRST PICTURE can actually SEE well enough to find food?
