silkie eye problem

My silkie has white goo around one of his eyes. I wiped it off last and got all the feathers away from his eyes thinking it was irritation from feathers. This morning he has the same white goo around his eye. Any ideas what to do? Thanks

How is he otherwise? Wheezing, sneezing? Read posts in this Emergency section. Do a search.

I would consider isolating him in case this becomes a respiratory issue.

no wheezing, no sneezing, he seems ok other than the eye goo.
