I have 7 month old silkies hens and roosters as well as 2 Wynadotte and 2 Buff Braham hens. I fed my silkies Nutrena silkie chick food when babies but when I switched to layer pellets(Nutrena) specifically for the silkies they refused to eat. I switched to Harvest blend and meat bird crumbles. I feed to all. They love both but ignore pellets in Harvest Blend. Their eggs are fine and are laying daily. Just wanted to be certain I won't face issues later. I would prefer to give them an organic high protein food but not familiar with any . Any suggestions appreciated!!!
