Silkie gender, do hens ever get big wattles?

Hi,

I bought two silkie babies (4 weeks old, so supposedly sexed) and one is starting to get big wattles- much bigger than even my older silkie ladies. I've attached a pic if there are any experts out there. The nursery will exchange if it's a rooster, but the other silkie I got at the same time is best buddies with the silkie in question so I want to be sure before I split them up
