I know it’s too early for the novice, but wanted to see if the Master Silkie owners & breeders had an idea…

My first Silkie is only 10-11 weeks and is already getting his voice (he’s my spoiled baby though… - first & second pictures).

They're still really to young to tell. But yes, the one in the 1-2 pics is a cockerel.
But on the others, post more pics in about 2-4 more weeks, and do pics of the combs and back.

It's the year of the roos again. Had quite a few cockerels this year too.

A few popular silkie crosses out there are: Silkie X Polish, Silkie X D'uccle, Silkie X Sablepoot, & Silkie X Cochin.

But other crosses maybe possible.

Unfortunately not…. He was given to me at a few days old and they got him from an livestock auction.
