I have a lot of breeds and want to hatch some Marans for my standard flock and some kind of bantams for this flock later this year or next year.

I'm leaning towards pullet for all the Silkies as of now...

Really? Even Popcorn? I’d honestly be fine with that because I could probably find or hatch a cockerel very easily if I wanted one. If popcorn is a cockerel though, I will be keeping him.

I got 3 silkies from Ideal Poultry along with some other bantams back in early June, and now I’m 90% sure of the silkies genders! I’m so excited and I hope I’m right! If you disagree then let me know.

Agreed! I have thought they were all pullets for awhile, though I was on the fence with Popcorn in the beginning.

Took some close ups of Popcorn just now. Still think pullet or no? I’m fine either way. I have a black silkie rooster now, but still want to keep popcorn either way. The other 2 are for sure girls I believe and I also got another white hen with my black rooster. Oh, and I have 2 silkie chicks that I will post on here in a few weeks. Thank y’all for any help!!!
