silkie gender??? w/larger pic

I would say girl. No beard and no visible waddles (which you would see without the beard by this age). Also, no streamers.

hi,I have had many silkies before but they where all eaten by skunks.

That is a female.

Tip: if you want chicks don't eat there eggs silkies are great setters.

I have a Silkie of undetermined gender as well. Fred looks like the silkie roos I saw at the fair. Hef does NOT. Hef clearly has wattles and a comb, and not a puffy head. But although Fred has a puffy head he's never crowed. So we're waiting to see if Hef tries to climb him or fight him. No silkie eggs yet, even from HuffPuff. But she wants to be a mom / talks like a momma hen already.

I'll see if I can get a good picture of Fred...
