Silkie Gender??

Hey yall! Back again!
I got 2 blue silkies about 2 months old.
My questions:
Are they ACTUALLY blue?
Genders? (I think boys but not 100%)
Can genders be seen at this point?
Which one better meets SOP/ which one should I keep to breed with gravy and queso (if boys)

You are ok! Many people do that! Yours are too young, unfortunately, that’s why we couldn’t answer very well!

Can anyone here tell me if my 4 week old Silver is a roo? I am only basing it on the fact the feet feathers are so much longer than my blodies

Agree, your littles are too young to gender ID. You can with MOST silkies by 4 months of age. Some boys make themselves known before then.

I appreciate the feedback! It just looks weird that Silver has complete coverage and I got them right after all 3 hatched! I will have to keep taking pictures every week!

My silkies were slow to show distinctly the m vs. f.
The whites were the most difficult. Usually, I have to hear them crow or mount a sister.

No worries, Im new on here and I first tried to message someone and they never answered me so i just seen this thread and read it and figured you all were knowledgeable!! But im super nervous about Silver lol ! I know what to actually look for once older but i felt this was outa the norm
