Silkie Gender?

Any idea on the gender of this silkie? He/She looks a bit like a cockerel to me but he/she is also such a good mama to the other younger chicks he/she is with every day. Also, would you consider this chick fully feathered and ready to transition outside? Temps are getting down to 30 degrees at night and I am always nervous about putting fragile little silkies outside!

The silkies personality is definitely more like a cockerel (HATES when I try to pick him up and makes ear piercing sounds over and over), but it is so good with the babies - maybe I misinterpreted the cockerel “being a good mother” for actually being protective of his flock? Unsure.

How old? If they have a heater I think they'll be fine to go out. :)

Age? Looks female to me.😊
Comb is flat and I see no wattles forming.
Also partridge colored silkies develop red over the wings in males.
Need age to be more certain.
 
We do not have a heater setup outside yet. Some of my silkies are 10 weeks old (see pictures below) - the cockerel (or pullet) in my original thread is about 7 weeks old.
