Silkie gender ?

The comb on one of my 6 week old buff Silkies is purplish. Does this mean it is definitely a cockeral? Can the combs change color that young?

The combs on all silkies are supposed to be a deep mulberry color. Pics would definately help

None of my 14 week old Sikies have coloring on their combs. They are all either black or dark grey. I don't know if I'll be able to find someone to help me post pictures.
