I got 2 white silkies from a person that couldn't take them to new location. Here are the pictures I took tonight.

Just a week ago I took in a silkie with a badly injured foot and she was in about the same condition as your new boy. I read up on BYC to wash them with dawn dish soap and it worked wonders! it cut through the oil and grime on her feathers and i just used a rag and my hand to go through all her feathers.
