Silkie head feathers

No, actually, she hasn't given me any static over them. Are you sure you're using the micro-clips and not the size above them? The ones I'm using are really small.

i got them at the dollar store and they pretty much fall apart when i open them.

Hey Bliss, shes a pretty girl, well done, and i love the bling!
What s her name? you could call her Paris!!

My silkies dont get shown, they are just for pets as i love their natures, they freerange all day so they must be allowed to see .
I definately give mine a haircut around the eyes, they really enjoy being able to see peripheral visions!
Of course if they never get to have a haircut (poor things) they dont know what they are missing and they cope, well of course they do, how can they tell us otherwise!!
I really dont enjoy the sight of them bumping into obstacles.
I say to everyone, if you dont intend to show then give them the benefit of a nice trim so they can SEE!!!

I call her Miss Cuckoo for lack of imagination. One of her roommates is called Cottonball, and I haven't come up with a name for the other. I'm sure I'll inadvertantly come up with some silly girly name signifying something fluffy.

My silkie Dorothy has stiff head feathers that stand .straight up. She nests and I am pretty sure lays eggs. My other rooster chases her around. I don't think she is a he, but my other silkie has soft round feathers and is much smaller. Are there different varieties of silkies?
