Silkie Help

My daughter is 6 and showing silkie chickens and a pekin duck for the first time for 4-H at the county fair this year. I am wondering how do we "wash/groom these silkies? And help and tips would be appreciated greatly =)

Here is a link to a cute website on how to give a chicken a bath. They can rather enjoy the warm water and will relax for the most part. One of my hens will sit down in a very shallow bath I use to wash their feet off with, so I have to hold her up so she doesn't sit down, that is how much they can enjoy warm water.
