Silkie hen and chicks with DRY light brown crust at nostrils??

If it comes back, what does that mean? Someone mentioned gape worm with the hen choking. I looked down in there and I didn't see a thing. This crust though, can anyone help me??

Ok, well washing it off gently does sound like a good idea. May be she is choking on the type of food. I can't remember is it mashed or crumbles? I sure hope another more experienced person comes on here and can give you some advice. I am stumped..... Come on guys, any other suggestions out there?
 
Oh my word! I'm sorry for posting the same thing a bunch of times!! My computer wasn't posting, or so I didn't think it was!! It was loading and loading and I guess they all went through and I didn't realize! It wasn't working! I'm so sorry!!
