Silkie Hen Not Laying

Hello, BYC, my silkie hen is 8 months old now. At 6 months she started laying every day or every other day. Now she hasn't layed for a while. Atleast 3 weeks. I don't know when she will start to lay again. She has a silkie rooster with her and an ancona hen. I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks

are you sure she isn't broody?
Silkies are not known for their egg laying, and they can be very secretative about where they are laying. its possible she is having some time off due to the heat/ cold or an early moult. whats her feed like? is she getting enough calcium and protein?

She might be broody. I give them normal laying pellets and some scratch grain and corn atleast once or twice a week. I also give them grit every once in a while.

Tonight I went out and I saw her laying in the nest box. I went in to pet her to see if she made a broody noise but she got off the nest. She didn't have any eggs under her though. Is this a sign of broodiness?
