Silkie hen or roo?

She/he is about 16 weeks. No crowing and no real comb. Still hard For me to tell!

Silkies are notoriously tricky when gender guessing so please do not make any decisions until (s)he crows or lays an egg

You can, however, put me down as a vote for pullet at this stage.

Nothing is screaming rooster though and she has such a sweet face .. she is a cutie.

If there is no further comb development, I'd say pullet.

I'm leaning toward pullet BUT, need to see a photo of her comb from the front. Is this a hatchery bird? Otherwise I would expect a better crest on her/him.
