Silkie hen or roo?

Legally i am allowed to have a rooster but if my neighbors complain i will have to re home. Hoping all goes well!

If they are the same and there is that much difference I think you do have a cockerel. Is there any size difference?

They are pretty close in size. Not much difference

Yay! Fingers crossed. My neighbors love the chickens so as long as they aren’t louder than my three dogs we are good...

Male silkies combs are usually that reddish blackberry color.

Yes i know but that doesn’t look like a Silkie comb, which is why i asked.

I know it doesn’t. Who knows. I don’t care if it’s pure or not. Just curious if it’s a boy or girl...

I did notice how its comb almost looks like a single comb, but hatchery birds are known to be unpredictable.
