These two are about 3 1/2 months old. What do you guys think. I'm thinking the white is a girl but not too sure about the other one

At about 14 weeks... both appear female to me... according to comb size.

I don't see male feathers coming out of the back of the crest (at least yet)... making them look like they sport mullets.

But comb difference between male and female is significant by the stated age.

Your dark Silkie... is she blue partridge? I feel like the brown coloring would be more red if male. Even though her feathers look a bit tricky... saddle and hackle looking a bit long... comb SAYS female. And BOY.. you got at least one WILD pic there! :love

I was told the dark one would be blue partridge. They also free run with the rest of my from which includes a mature rooster. If my rooster doesnt display any dominance towards the chicks and doesnt try to pick fights with them could that be another sign they may be hens.

A month later at about 4 and a half months. Do I have a roo? My other one ended up being a roo

I don't mind being previously wrong, and appreciate being able to look back at what clues I might have missed!

You're blue partridge Silkie appears to be a pullet still. But can you get a side standing shot that shows the whole profile and color. :pop

Just ran out and snapped a couple. Hard to get because the silkie wanted no part of it

The white bird has more comb than I expect to see on a female - figured it was a cockerel
Would like to see your dark one facing forward with crest held/pulled back to display entire extent of comb.
