You could always post the pics on the silkie thread and ask them ?

Their are a few people on there that can tell the gender of them

I've never seen a comb like that on a silky

it looks to be pullet...those little bumps are spur bumps and both pullets and roos have them some hens even develop larger spurs than roos. are the feathers around its neck pointed or rounded?

But its crest looks like the wind is blowing back.

hens normally have a more rounded crest.

They look a little pointed but itss hard to tell from the picture.

Does it crest look like this one in shape ?
