Silkie hen or rooster??

Just got this silkie chick i was told it was 12 weeks old but not sure as its feathers are quite sparce under the wings, also not sure if it is a hen or a rooster as there appears to be no comb and very tiny wattles. Any ideas???

That is one gorgeous silkie chick. I would love to say pullet but, that comb looks wide for a girl. Maybe she(?) will grow into it. By 5 mos. of age it should be pretty clear.

Looks like a pullet to me, but I've had girls with big combs and boys with little ones. Probably a girl though.

2x drumbstick diva Silkies are hard, my guess is cockerel but hoping I'm wrong cause that is a very gorgeous chick! Coloring is very interesting, you are going to have to keep us updated on this one. I'd love to see it in another month or two.
