I was just wondering how is best to candle...

I used to leave the eggs in the incubator while it was open and quickly went through and candled each one...

But recently I've seen that many put them into egg cartons and even take them into a different room.

I'm guessing that is to keep the machine stable ?

What is best ?

Do what works for you, if your hatch rate suffers do something differently the next time.

The main things to remember are don't leave the incubator open for too long and don't drop the eggs.

I take mine to a different room because our bathroom is the only room without windows. Someone else might prefer to candle a few at a time in the incubator so they don't risk dropping them. Some people don't bother candling at all (savages )

Regarding the Seramas...it didn't really look like any were developed, appart from #20.
But their only on day 4, so could definitely just have been a little early to candle. I hope that's the case
