Congrats mop bucket! What a cutie! The other who had pipped looks fine to me, both pip location and membrane. If it gets close to the 24 hr mark since ext pip and nothing has happened, then I would think about helping a bit.

I put Annie Yolkley and Mop Bucket into the brooder this morning.

Lucky/Lucky Lady was zipping ferociously before I left for work

Rebel and Eightball also pipped this morning

He's on day 20 now.

I've had eggs wiggle for a long while before hatching.

You could listen to the egg and see if you hear peeping. If you hear peeping it means the chick internally pipped (pierced the membrane). If it internally pipped leave it be. If you don't hear anything go ahead and candle it to see if you see activity.

I generally don't assist an egg unless the chick has pierced the shell. I find it difficult to tell where to put the hole. Sometimes while candling you can see a triangle where the chick's beak is pressed against the egg. If you can find it use a sterilized screw to carefully start a hole. . .if you see blood STOP . . . it means the veins haven't receded and the chick isn't ready to hatch.

Go Popcorn! I wouldn’t worry. It’s only day 20. I’ve noticed that most stop wiggling heavily right before they pip. Shouldn’t be too long now!
