silkie mix chicks super cute! going to add updated photos so you can watch them grow! updated 3/5

Hello, I love the "watch them grow" photos so i figured i would start my own. I got silkie eggs from ebay that were marked as "blue, black, buff, splash, paint, white, partridge, showgirl, sizzle and frizzle showgirl" all free ranging together. The following pictures are what hatched. I think it will be fun to watch them grow so i will post updates probably weekly at first and then a little less as they change less week by week until they are adults. I tried to get a face shot to show the comb, a foot shot to show the 5th toe and feathers on the feet and then two "cute" photos of each chick so 4 pictures per chick and a few group shots as well. for reference- today is 7/20/13 and the chicks were hatched yesterday and today.

OH! gorgeous! I love silkies by the way. Random thought: I've always thought black silkies could be mistaken as dogs if you look at them the other way around. Pretend their bottom is the head and their heads are the tails.

Um... I don't think they're all silkies. Of course, if the parents were all free ranging together, that does mean that there are probably some mixes.

I agree.

If they actually are, they are really low quality. Barely any feathers on their feet, and no crests.

They are adorable though!! Can't wait to see how they grow!

ya i put up top what they are... there is frizzle in there too. i know they aren't "high quality" they are just cute pet chickens
