From my experience... that is a Pullet, I'm 95% sure from watching my silkies grow
Our boys have always had streamers at that age lol

Streamers are longer feathers that grow out of the back of a male Silkies crest. I also think your bird is a pullet, but a comb shot and a shot of the back of the crest would help

Mmmm..., I dunno, it sure looks like a pullet to me. I have a silkie pullet that looks just like that, excpt she's white. Hope it is a pullet.

i am excited. out of my six, i think only one is a roo. i am trying to convince stephen to let me keep him... for protection of the flock and ... stuff.
