Silkie mix??

I got this little chick from a local farm...mom is a silkie for sure... Not sure what dad is. Can any of you tell the gender or perhaps mix? Over the last few days his/her feathers have been turning reddish.

How old is it? It is way too young to tell on gender or breed. If the father was not silkied, then it will probably have smooth feathers, maybe a crest. It's really cute!

The guy actually said he believes its a full silkie...
Oh and, this little ones feathers are turning red only on the chest...?
I'm new to chickens..........
