How adorable !

Im expecting my 1st set of baby Silkies tomorrow, Tues, May 1, and Im a bit nervous since they are bantams.

Ive never brooded bantams so Im not sure about their heating requirements. Im using the Brinsea Eco brooder this time.

There is poultry wire over the chain links, if you look close enough in the pictures. That said, I have chickens who free range with baby chicks, and have been doing so for years, and haven't had an issue with snakes or rats bothering them.
