Are there any breeders of silkies or D'uccles in Washington state? I am a 4-H member and I am looking for birds or chicks to add to my flock to show. I will be going to a few poultry shows this fall and I am willing to travel to get a bird. The birds I have gotten from the feed stores have been defective or deformed. Some had deformed feed or combs and could not be shown and have a hard time walking. Let me know if there are any of you out there!
