Depends on how far back the silkied feathers go in your satin, too. Depending on how many generations it is, may have had the silkied feathers bred out. In that case, all the chicks will be smooth (satin) but carry the gene for the silkied feathers from the father (recessive).Oh ok thanks . The roo is a regular Silkie n the hen is a satin .
