I picked up this day old out of Meyers misc. bin and the gal said it was a polish? I have a 1 year old white silkie roo and the feathers or what ever you call it's covering is the same as this polish. It has 5 toes on each foot if you can see them through the fluff. Do you think it is some sort of cross breed what ever. How about some openions. Thanks, rj

Forgot, 4 week female so I was told. Her feathers are coming in and at first they look like whole feathers. Soon they seem to fray into a cotton soft covering. Realy neat.

If this one is a silkie Meyers is slipping. I picked 4 RR, 1 silkie, 1 polish and one barred rock. So far 4 look like RR's, the polish is a silkie, the barred rock is checked brown and the one that is suppose to be a silkie is the most friendly, she will just climb on my hand as soon as I enter the brooder to feed and water and just watch. God only knows. I think this is more fun than knowing exactly what I ordered. I guess I am more into a mystery than I thought. Thanks for the replies, rj

If that is a mix it is mostly silkey, I don't see anything else really, it has the feathers, feet, color skin... very silky
