Ok, I'm going there. Well, here. I'm asking for helping on my silkies. They are both 13 weeks old. I've never had such a hard time sexing them at this age! But from what I have read, that is normal. So, here are my pair: RooPaul and Roxanne (lol). I'm leaning towards one of each based solely on comb/wattle appearance, but also know that is not always a good indicator.
They are always together, so neither one "calls" the other over for good finds. They are both fairly quiet. Actually, only time I hear them make noise is when I'm trying to catch them. And that is just a little squeak.
Not so secretly, I'm hoping to have one of each.
RooPaul (back) and Roxanne at 11 weeks
Roxanne, 13 weeks (I couldn't get any other photos, she jumped out my daughter's hands and I opted to stop stressing her out)
RooPaul, 13 weeks (he loves my daughter, but not me haha)

Lol I completely understand what you’re saying! Silkies are quite maddening in the sense of having to wait so very long on gender identification. But they sure do make up for it with all their fluff and sweetness!
