Silkie? Question

So I have this bantum I think is a Silkie. Any ideas on what color it is and gender? As a chick it appeared brown with various markings, now it looks gray. I have attached a chick photo and a photo at 6 1/2 weeks. You have all been so helpful with the other, I figured I would give this one a try! Thanks so much.

its a silkie and too young to sex yet. I wouldn't be surprised if it develops a reddish ring around its neck later on in a few months
