He is showing his hormones and desperately needs to be part of a flock. I treat him and he drops it and calls for a hen, but there are none. So sad.

There is absolutely no doubt. Crows, occasionally attacks, drops treats and calls for hens, and has crest streamers. The only thing male related that he doesn't do is hog the TV remote. I am heartbroken because in spite of that he still comes up on my shoulder at bedtime to take a nap. We got him when he was about 1 1/2 months old and were told he was a pullet.
