Silkie Roo or confused hen??

Puff is a 4 month old blue silkie who we first thought was a roo because of size then a few weeks ago BYC determined it was a hen but this morning I think it crowed....

My daughter is taking Puff to fair next week so if anyone has a definitive opinion that would be great.

I'm not a silkie expert, but it looks like my 4 mo old roo. (Who also just started crowing!)

Same thing happened to me - all three of my silkies looked like pullets and were confirmed as pullets by BYC until all three crowed the next week! Silkies are tricky little birds!

That looks like a roo to me. Good luck at the fair, my daughters are doing their second one this week.

Thanks for your help. Puff now makes the 3rd confirmed roo. We have a splash, and buff also. They are all beautiful but sadly we won't be able to keep them all, we only have 3 hens.
