Silkie Roo Questions

I just picked up the cutest little silkie pair yesterday, a white and a buff. I was playing with them last night and I noticed one of them is a...BOY?! Yep, he was sexed wrong. So, I have one lone roo and I am just wanting to know he will 'be friendly' with the standard girls. If so, what have others done to keep this from happening? I could let them roam at different times of the day and give him his own house - probably the dog house as the dog won't go in there! Also, do silkie roos crow like typical roos?

Yep silkie roos are just like normal sized roos. He will take your hens and be their rooster and try to protect them because they don't know how silly they look. He will also crow like regular roos. It may take him some time to learn which way is forward, but he will mate just fine with your standard sized hens.

That was peep peep and his girls before he gave his life for his hens. (although he was probably picked off because he was easy and oblivious to the world around him)
