Silkie roo won't stop mounting new chicken but I don't know sex. PLEASE HELP

just bought a new Silkie that is 4 months old and is supposedly a hen and my Silkie roo won't stop mounting her so does that mean she is definitely a hen? And if so is that too young for him to do that should I stop it? Plz help

I suspect he is asserting his authority over the new hen and hopefully it should settle down so as long as he isn't being aggressive for now I'd just watch and see.

Not sure if the mounting is 100% guarantee but would hope they could tell the sex better than us lol

Edited to add just realised you said its only 16 weeks old. I can't remember how old ours started all that but I think they were a little older but as long as he isn't being rough or violent I don't think it would actually hurt her.

He's pretty rough so I separated her from him for now they can still see each other but fence in between
