Silkie roo?

Always stands super tall, the tail feathers, ran around trying to chest bump the other birds. In the picture it’s 3 months old.

Good question! It looks a lot like a couple of my hens, so I thought pullet. What do you see that's rooster-ish? I don't see streamers or anything. But I DO have terrible eyesight. Lol!

That was definitely a hen.. no noticeable comb and/or waddle.

In the cases where you're not sure, take a bit longer to let it mature so you're sure of what you're selling!

I sold this silkie because to me it looked and acted like a roo. But the lady I sold it to said she had someone look at it and they say it’s a hen. My partner said it crowed weakly at him but I never heard it myself. Can you all please ease my mind that I sold a roo and not a hen?

pretty sure mine is a roo. He is about 3.5 months old, but his wattles grew overnight about a month ago.

No practice crowing yet.

The tail looks like a roo to me, but no big waffles concerns me.
