'Back in the day' I said, so yea, people who originally started with the breed. Did they want a large poof, did they have them but along the way of coming here they lost it somewhat and got mixed up/forgotten since they are very cute all over anyway?
They must of since standards changed and then things got lost, either downgraded or upgraded. What was wrong with the original? Why does everyone need their own standards? How is it then the same, its not, its the newer version, but no longer the same and shouldn't be considered such.
Sonoran Silkies----When you said 'recent photo' I jumped the gun again, sorry. Then again, why get a recent photo if he isn't growing and changing still. New feathers or better pattern developing would = growth.
