Silkie rooster flopping around and neck bent

Hello,

My husband heard one of our silkie
Roosters in the hen house yelling and when he looked inside he was flipping around with his mouth open. My husband came and got me and i grabbed him. He stopped flopping around but his neck is still
Bent off to one side. I touched the bulging area and he didn’t like that. Any idea of what could have happened? We do have another silkie rooster but my husband said he didn’t see him in there at all with the injured one. They’re 1 1/2 years old almost. I separated him and put in different coop.

Silkies are prone to neurological disorders. Silkie owners would be wise to keep a bottle of vitamin E capsules on hand as well as a bottle of selenium tablets. Give one E cap directly into his beak followed by a tiny sliver of a selenium tablet. Do this each day until he's back to normal.

The bulge may have been his crop. But if it is still pronounced after he has had the vitamin E, post a photo of it so we can see.
