Silkie Rooster

Peep, our silkie rooster was recently dethroned by Cornball our younger rooster who has just come into maturity. Peep now just wanders. He doesn't hang around with the flock. He just wanders on his own. I am worried that he is just going to disappear one day. Is this normal rooster behavior after losing the standing of King in the flock?

I think so, maybe you could separate them and give him some of his own hens?

We added 10 more hens, and today is the first day they are out of quarantine, and able to free range. He seems to be sticking closer to the house, but still wandering away from the rest of the chickens.
