Silkie rooster

I thought I had all hens but I realized on of my silkies is a rooster. I do not live in the city, but my neighbors are close by. They will definitely hear the crowing once he starts. He has not started crowing yet. He is not aggressive and is very friendly. My hens love him and when they get separated the hens cry for him. I do not want to be a difficult neighbor, and cause problems with those living close by. Are silkies roosters as noisy as other roo's? Any suggestions on what to do? I do not want to cull him just because he is a rooster.

I've only owned one silkie rooster and he crows a few times in the morning. Its not a very loud crow and he is quiet the rest of the day.
