Silkie, Roosters?

I have these 2 silkies that are 8 months old. Out of 5, one is a for sure hen and two have been crowing for months now so my question is are these two roosters that just don’t see a need to crow yet or could they possibly be hens?

Both are cockerels, in my opinion. Your other cockerels are probably more dominant and are keeping these two from crowing.

Unfortunately they do both look like cockerels to me as well. When I got five silkie chicks I only ended up with a single pullet too

That's a bummer. It might be worthwhile to buy older, sexed pullets if you try again. Saves a lot of heartbreak.

I only wanted one pullet, so it wasn't too bad. We found the rest homes. However, I don't know the OPs plans for their silkies and I can imagine that this is pretty disappointing.

Yes, I've won the cockerel lottery with many batches of chicks that I've hatched where I was hoping for more pullets! Finally had a hatch of EEs in February where it looks like I have 5 pullets and 1 cockerel - dreams to come true!

I was really hoping for pullets since I already have my rooster. Along with the one pullet I got out of these five I also have two blue silkie pullets that are 3 months old right now. I had them DNA tested so I don’t have to play the waiting and guessing game.
I’ll be having two more 3 month olds DNA tested soon as well.
