Silkie sexing 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’ve read so many articles … I’m still torn on these guys. I think purple may be a hen!? Teal looks to be a roo. Not sure of the red collar and no collar. These silkies are 16 weeks old. No crowing. They all still face off with the hens and each other so - I can’t really use that behavior as a clue. No fighting. Teal has some wattle. … clearly a first time silkie owner. Forgive me!

I'm no expert but Red Collar is your cockerel ... Purple and No Collar pullets ... can't make out Teal's head tuff. What I'm looking at is the head feathering ... Pullets/Hens are like a cotton ball while Cockerels/Roos got a "streamer" in the back like your head pic of Red Collar. Combs are another tell - tale but can't make out any ... Pull back the feathering and the males have more pronounced ones.

Could you get a close comb picture for each bird? Silkies are hard to sex, but comb pictures are so useful!

Purple and no collar is pullet and red and real is roos
