The only way I can tell about silkies is if they have waddles. Waddles = Roo. I can't tell from the pics if the bird has them or not.

Thanks for the reply. Depending what it is, I will prolly be selling this bird. Either on here or Eggbid. So if somebody is interested pm me let me know. Feet feathering and toes are great and you see the rest, awesome crest and dark skin, I just don't know what sex it is yet. Thanks again!

I have a hen who spars all the time. Looks like a girl, but she is less than 5 months old, so there is no guarantee until you see an egg or hear a crow. My silkies rarely lay before 8 months. Whichever, looks to be very nice.

BTW, wattles really have no bearing with silkies--if non-bearded, they all have them, and when bearded, some have them--the smaller the better, but wattle presence or size (unless huge) doesn't reflect gender as it does in non-bearded breeds.

Thanks Sonoran! I bet it is a pullet looking at it's mother it looks very alike, just spars alot and has a rooster squak squak squak when I pick it up. If it's tail would bloom for me I think shell be real pretty if it stays a she haha
