If it would live up to its name, it would let you know if it were a cockerel or a hen... and if it were a cockerel, then it would change itself into a hen.

That is so very sad for me-ouch and for that buff!
 
That is the first I have heard of the wing thing... good info to have. Silkies are so darn tricky LOL A lot of folks thought my Poppet was a male, but she certainly turned out to be a she. But, that many Silkie experts can't be wrong....
