I'm trying to figure out what gender my Silkie chicks are. I've had them for a little over 5 weeks and not sure when they were hatched. I'm posting a few pix, hope someone can help. The white one seems to have a brain like mash, the Black one seems to have the beginnings of a raised comb and the splash doesn't appear to have anything going on...I hope there is at least one hen, I don't know what I'll do with 3 Roos?!?! Thanks in advance for any help that is offered...I may have better pix I can search for more or take new ones~

Hoping these show her comb better...this is my Priscila Pearl. I guess if it's a boy he'll be Pearlman. About 4 months old and comb JUST started turning a couple days ago. Yes, she has a spraddle leg.

im going off of the crest it appears to have streamers which would indicate a cockerel everything else says pullet

im pretty sure the white one is a cockerel the other 2 its hard to tell right now

Thanks for your input, I was thinking the same about the white one. They're all developing differently and not knowing is driving me crazy. It'll be so sad to have all Roos....I took more photos today, I can try and post those too.

Yep shes a he ... Sorry... From what i was told and my own experiece you dont want any red j. The combs especially this little.

The one I really want to know is the splash its suppose to be a Hen but so was the blue and he's crowing now. I was only suppose to get one rooster and that is one of the white ones there is also a white hen hopefully. I really want the splash to be a hen. The buff is suppose to be a hen too. They are 5 to 6 months old.
